Its getting into surf season again for me, last weekend was pretty stoke inducing, the surf was quite pleasant once I figured it out again. Shit, I was so stoked, I was stoked all week at work.

Really stoked this shot was printed in backcountry - Drew Tabke skiing -I was on rappel, alot of it free hanging about 140 feet above a very steep slope holding just terrible ice crusty snow, it was really wild seeing Drew rip the line thru my 10 - 22mm lens and trying to keep my cool and not shake to much possibly bluring the shot.
A later frame of this sequence is being printed in the next issue of The Ski Journal full page or two page spread, not sure yet - I will post it as well if anyone wants?

We are about to get a HUGE swell out here, somewhere around 26 feet at 16 seconds on frid and sat. I Cannot Wait to see nature in all its beauty this weekend. Going to be a bit rainy as well, but I don't care, I like the rain. Going to take some pics, maybe I will post some shots for a change. the waves at spot x were going off the day i shot these pics which i like alot. tal, steve and myself were stoked. i got a tube. it had been long time though it doesn't count as did not make it out but who cares. i can't name the spot as a fair amount of the local surfers there are grumpy and territorial. so be it. just keep smiling, try to make your waves and be respectful and realize how lucky we all are to be alive and healthy and amongst friends in such a beautiful amazing place. (when its not raining and cold.) anyway long long shutter speeds prevailed this evening being creative with the flash trying to get it more dialed.
